Tevez Set To Leave Manchester United?

Carlos Tevez’s agent has made it clear there can be no guarantees the striker will be a Manchester United player next season.

Tevez this week vehemently denied he had rejected a permanent contract with the Premier League champions, insisting he has had not been offered a deal to replace his loan arrangement, which expires in the summer.

The striker also said ‘all clubs are on an equal footing’ when it came to bidding for his services now – reviving talk of a move to Spanish champions Real Madrid.

And agent Kia Joorabchian last night defended his client’s comments, and admitted his future remains unresolved.

‘It’s very hard to predict,’ he said. ‘It’s football. Things change by the minute, by the hour. It’s not a no. You never know.’

Tevez is expected to start tonight’s Carling Cup semi-final first leg at Derby, and Joorabchian denied he was at loggerheads with his manager.

‘All Carlos said was that it was not true, he has not rejected an offer from United, he has not made crazy demands. Carlos has never made an issue or problem. He doesn’t have a problem at all with Sir Alex (Ferguson).’
